New for the 2010 Fair: Business and Friends of the Arts Sponsorships
Thank you for your interest in promoting Northwest authors and help fostering one of the premier author events located in Southern Oregon. Our group has grown from the first days of book sales in an Ashland alley, and over the past decade hundreds and hundreds of authors have benefited from the yearly sale and promotion opportunity. Now, we’re now ready to create an educational and instruction component for the Southern Oregon author community, emerging authors, and potential youth authors.
As a sponsor of the 2010 Southern Oregon Book and Author Fair, your company name and/or logo will be placed on community promotional material (posters and fliers), the Southern Oregon Book and Author Fair website (with active link, if possible), our author t?shirts, in a marketing flier given to all participating authors, and featured in our on?site advertising and Fair welcome sign. In addition to our thanks, you will receive an invitation to our Author’s Gathering before the Fair, as well as VIP name tags to wear while you attend the Fair or the Gathering.
Your donation will be used to build The Southern Oregon Book and Author Fair through media promotions and author support activities. It is our intent to transform this yearly gathering – beginning in 2011 – to include author workshops, presentations, and industry discussions. Your contribution will help our rural Northwest authors to receive the peer fellowship and instruction that is usually reserved for groups in cities like Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles and secure venues and presenters for next year.
